GPOYW: 34 Edition*

Today I am 34.5 weeks pregnant and it is my 34th birthday. (Where does time go?)

This year has been a big one. I got married, got big promotion (which came with a big raise), got pregnant, traveled a lot, read a bunch of great books, was finally able to let go of some pretty heavy things and commit to my own personal growth and  taught myself to turn a pumpkin into muffins.  Not bad, huh?

Even with all the big life changes and crazy busy happenings I would still say that this past year also felt very peaceful and content. I’ve finally learned how to say no, move forward, forgive, and focus living the life that I want.  I have great group of friends, a supportive family, a solid marriage, a job that I love, and a comfy home. I am doing things on my own terms and I know how to (even if I don’t always practice it) block out the negative noise that can so easily bring me down and add chaos.  In other words, I’m taking care of myself and it feels great.

It was a really spectacular year. I’m happy. Probably the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m proud of who I am and the life I’m living and I’m over the top excited about everything this next year holds.
