This weekend, you guys, was just what the doctor ordered.
Friday night happy hour with both old & new friends, champagne in wine glasses, and girl talk galore (chit chat among lady friends, not the dj).
Saturday we decided to road trip down to the shore, to escape the St. Paddy’s day madness of the ‘hood, and spend a little quite time by the sea. It was the first weekend in over a year that we’ve had together without  some other obligation, deadline, or responsibility looming in the background. I can’t even begin to describe how damn peaceful and perfect it was.
Sunday we stopped in Philly on the way home to pick up the remainder of our wedding gifts and to buy bar stools at Ikea. That was both the most productive and most stressful part of the weekend.
I went to bed and woke up this morning without the dreaded anxiety and depression that I normally feel at the end of each weekend. I could get used to that.
